Today Charlestown continues to be among the top of the list for those who want an urban location close to downtown. One can still find a plethora of quaint apartments, condos and the occasional historic single family. Points of interest in Charlestown include The Navy Yard, home to the USS Constitution or “Old Ironsides,”the Bunker Hill Monument which is at the end of the famous Freedom Trail along and Bunker Hill Community College. Charlestown is also notable as the starting point of Paul Revere’s “midnight ride” before the battles of Lexington and Concord.
